Give Your Bottles & Cans a Purpose

Support Those Losing Sight & Hearing

A simple way to turn everyday recycling into real impact.

Ireland’s Deposit Return Scheme (DSR) allows you to return eligible bottles and cans and receive a small refund for each item.

  • Return plastic bottles and cans with the Re-turn logo
  • Get a refund of €0.15–€0.25 per item
  • Redeem vouchers in-store or as cash

This simple system is already transforming recycling in Ireland by reducing litter and increasing recycling rates nationwide.

How it Works - Raising Funds for Good Causes

  1. Collect →  Set up collection points for bottles and cans
  2. Return →  Bring them to a local Re-turn point
  3. Donate →  Use the refunds to support Usher Syndrome Ireland. More details on how to donate your funds here.

Why Our Work Matters

Usher syndrome is a rare genetic condition that causes progressive loss of both hearing and vision. Currently, there is no cure or treatment. Many in our community struggle to find resources, peer connection, and hope.

Funds raised will help our small, volunteer-led charity to:

  • Support individuals & families living with Usher syndrome
  • Provide community events & practical resources
  • Fund research into treatments & therapies
  • and so much more
