Run for Usher Syndrome Ireland

Antrim Coast Half Marathon 2026

Usher Syndrome Ireland is delighted to announce it has free charity places for the Antrim Coast Half Marathon, one of the world’s most iconic coastal runs.


Whether you’re chasing a PB, ticking off your first half marathon, or looking for a meaningful challenge, this is your chance to make your miles matter.

  • Event: Antrim Coast Half Marathon
  • Charity places: Free
  • Fundraising commitment: Minimum £300
  • Sign-up processing fee: £10


Why Run for Usher Syndrome Ireland? 

Usher syndrome is a rare genetic condition that causes both hearing loss and progressive vision loss. It affects children and adults across Ireland and can have a life changing impact on communication, education, independence, and mental wellbeing.


By running for Usher Syndrome Ireland, you’ll be helping to:


  • Provide practical supports and services to people living with Usher syndrome
  • Fund information, advocacy, and peer support programmes
  • Raise awareness of a condition that remains widely misunderstood
  • Support research into the condition to find a cure
  • Every step you take helps ensure no one with Usher syndrome feels alone.


What You’ll Get

When you run for Usher Syndrome Ireland, you won’t be doing it on your own. You’ll receive:


  • A personal fundraising page created automatically on GivenGain
  • Fundraising guidance and support from our team
  • A dedicated Usher Syndrome Ireland running top (available on request)


Whether it’s your first half marathon or your fifteenth, we’ll support you every step of the way.


How to Sign Up


  1. Visit the registration page: Antrim Coast Half Marathon Charity Entry
  2. Complete your details on page one and two (tip: if you live in Ireland, select the option to enter your address manually)
  3. On page three, choose Usher Syndrome Ireland as your charity and opt to create your fundraising page automatically with GivenGain. Then select “Support Usher Syndrome Ireland at Antrim Coast Half Marathon” as your fundraising page
  4. Complete registration and check out
  5. Once registered, your place is secured and your fundraising page will be ready to share.
