We network and collaborate with many different organisations to ensure that those living with Usher syndrome can get information and access to the resources they need.
The Anne Sullivan Foundation provides support to individuals with dual-sensory loss through their Outreach service, catering to their needs in schools, homes, and communities. Accepting referrals from those with any degree of combined vision and hearing loss, the Outreach service offers person-cantered assessments and training, and advice.
Mental Health Ireland has been an innovator in the promotion of positive mental health and wellbeing in Ireland for almost half a century. They are now at the point of refocusing their mission and regenerating their activity to support their new vision; for an Ireland where mental health is valued as being an essential part of personal wellbeing and the health of the nation.
Féach is a parent-led organisation that produces informational guides and hosts webinars for parents, teachers, SNA’s, and young people focusing on education and technology and on trouble shooting issues for children and teens with visual impairments in the classrooms.
Rare Ireland is a parent-run charity supporting families living with rare conditions in Ireland and recognises the crucial need for timely information, therapies, counselling, and more by providing financial assistance to individuals and families affected by rare conditions.
Rare Disease Ireland advocates for, empower and engage organisations and advocates, as well as people living with rare diseases, their carers and their families, to mobilise together with a strong voice to shape policies and solutions driven by the needs of all people living with rare diseases.
