Anne Sullivan Foundation Outreach

 In 2010, the Anne Sullivan Foundation established an Outreach service to provide support to people who are deafblind in their schools, homes and community. The Outreach service accepts referrals from anyone who has any degree of combined vision and hearing loss.
The outreach service offers 3 stands of support: 


  • Direct Services: People fro

 In 2010, the Anne Sullivan Foundation established an Outreach service to provide support to people who are deafblind in their schools, homes and community. The Outreach service accepts referrals from anyone who has any degree of combined vision and hearing loss.
The outreach service offers 3 stands of support: 


  • Direct Services: People from all across Ireland, together with their families and/or supporting professionals are offered person centered assessments, supports and training by our Outreach consultants.
  • Training: The Outreach service provides training and awareness for individuals and groups.
  • Information, Advice and Advocacy: Our information service is open to anyone wishing to find out more about deafblindness or enquire about the supports available to people who are deafblind in Ireland.

Usher Syndrome Ireland is hoping to run an inclusive workshop with Mental Health Ireland in the future for members of our Usher community. Some of the options for these workshops are, Mental Health & Wellbeing, The Five Ways to Wellbeing, Understanding Stress, Building Resilience, and Mindfulness.
